During the summer of 2009 petty crime in our apartment community seemed to be increasing by the day. Our residents were experiencing car break-in's, apartment break-in's, suspicious and unsavory non-residents brandishing weapons and crashing parties, and other way in which the peaceful enjoyment of our community and our residents were being disturbed. It seemed that daily our office received calls about another crime being committed. As community director, I felt frustrated and helpless.
When Bill McCoy from Signal 88 came into my office, I was ready to see what his company could do about our particular issues. Bill and Signal 88 were willing to tailor a patrolling plan to fit our specific needs and budget. Once Signal 88 began operating at our property, the crime significantly reduced, and our residents felt much more protected. Many of the previous worries and frustrations of crime on our property dwindled if not entirely disappeared. Additionally, having Signal 88's presence in our community has served as a powerful marketing tool for potential residents.
Working with Signal 88 has been tremendously beneficial regarding in-community concerns, as well.
