Operation American Dream: From Battlefield to BossIf you’re a military veteran with entrepreneurial dreams, Signal 88 Security is giving you the chance to win start-up money to open your own business.

Each month through May 15, 2013, submit a 500-word essay on why you deserve to be your own boss. At the end of each month, three finalists will be selected by Signal 88 Security. One monthly winner will be determined by a public vote and will win a $500 semi-finalist prize.

Semi-finalists will be entered for a chance to win the Grand Prize: $5,000 in start-up money to live your American Dream. The prize money increases to $10,000 if you choose to start your own Signal 88 Security franchise.

Final submissions are due May 15.
